Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Adding Son to Credit Card

I'm trying to help my son reestablilsh a good credit history. My credit history is beyond excellent. If I add him on to one of my credit cards without actually giving him a card, will his credit history be reflected or included on my credit report/score should I apply for a loan, refinance, etc.? My main concern is compromising my excellent rating. Thank you!

It is my understanding that adding your child to one of your credit cards will neither help him re-establish his credit nor affect yours so long as you pay all bills in a timely fashion. All the credit has been based on your information and will be reported as such.
