Adjudication withheld

When I was 16 I wrote a bad check and now that i am trying to get a job this is coming up. The disposition of the case is adjudication withheld. Back then I was under the impression that once I paid the check the charges would be dropped. What do I need to do to correct this.Will this also prevent me from getting the job?

yes, you need this removed or sealed. it will haunt you forever.
