Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Aggressive and harassing creditors

I have a creditor (for a personal loan) that is calling constantly and has even called my employer on numerous occasions concerning my debt. This loan has no co-signor, it is my sole responsibilty. The first time they contacted my employer was May 16. Around the first of June, they began calling my employer more frequently, daily and even asked my employer about garnishing my wages. I have been unable to find a lawyer, because I do not want to file for bankruptcy, but debt relief lawyers are all I can find pertaining to abusive creditors. Any assistance you can provide would be very helpful. Thank you.

You may have several causes of action against a debt collector such as this. There are federal and state claims for damages. Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss further.
