AMEX Corporate Card

My corporation has an amex corporate card that an employee ran up a high bill. The corporation is responsible for the bill. If this forces the corporation out of business is the officer of the corporation who applied for the original card still liable?

Depends on whether the corporate officer personally guaranteed payment. Without reading the application, it's difficult to give you any sort of answer other than "it depends"
