Anuities

i am being sued financially and although i believe the suit is wrongful i am concerned about the outcome. i am the owner of an anuity and wish to know if i am correct in my assumption that my anuity cannot be taken for payment much as my home here in florida. thank you.

Since you are being sued I assume you are represented by a lawyer. Ask him. I know of no general exclusion for annuties. Certain homesteads, if qualified, are exempt from execution. Good luck.
