Attorney collecting for fees
My ex attorney is currently suing me for unpaid fees. I signed a promissory note when i hired my attorney and I didnt notice that I promised to give him my JOINT federal income tax refunds every year Im indebted to him. Is the note null and void because my wife DID NOT sign the agreement (she was not named on it or was she a party to the document since I hired this attorney).

Call the Florida Bar fee dispute line. It seems your spouse would have a claim for the improper taking of her property.
