Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

The authorized user on my credit card is unable to pay his debt because he is

legally declared incompetent because of cancer and is going to die soon. What can I do avoid liability for this debt.

No much but file for bankruptcy. You became liable for his debt once you authorized him as a user.
