Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

auto ownership

Myself and another party purchased a truck together. The other party is the ''primary'' andI am the co-signer. The primary has been late on the payment four months in a row. Do I ,as the co-signer,so long as i'm not tresspassing when I do so, have the right to regain possion of the truck and make the payment myself?

Re: auto ownership

You are not the owner. You merely have a payment obligation. Unless the owner allows you to take possession and ownership the answer is no.
