Can my bank account or paycheck be garnished?

On May 2004 i received a notice for court concerning a credit card debt owed by myself and my husband. On June of same year i went to court and admitted to this debt and stated i could only afford a small monthly payment at this time ($25). In July of same year a motion for Final Judgment was entered and I waited to hear from the attorney handling the case. However, hurricane Ivan made things difficult for many of us.. and it wasnt until Jan. 2005 that final judgment was made in the amt. of $3450.77. Now its August and I'm just now receiving documents from the law firm Plaintiff's Request for Admission to....And---Plaintiff's Request for Production to...My question is this...they are asking me to provide bank info and work info..can they put a garnishment on my payroll...or put a freeze on my bank account if i already admitted to this debt and agreed to make payments? I have yet to hear from them concerning my paying this debt...and the number they list on their document (should i need to speak to them) cannot be completed as dialed. Also, when i looked up their office in the phone book i discovered that they are part of a group called floridacollections.com. I did send them an e-mail to let them know i could not call them.

SOunds like they may be trying to get information to garnish your account or paycheck. Did you default in your settlement agreement with them? I would have to see documents to be able to answer further questions.
