Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Our bank filed suit against us for a loan which we defaulted on (it was a signature vehicle loan). We are not disputing the fact or the amount, however there are mitigating circumstances. Is there a benefit in going to court and present our case, or is it better to settle for the full amount plus court and legal fees out of court?
