Bank Garnishment- Direct Deposit Social Security checks
If a creditor gets a judgment, can they garnish your bank account if you have direct deposit of our Social Security checks? Bankruptcy is not an option since I filed 2 years ago. Thank you

Yes, the account can be garnished. You, the debtor would then apply to the court to quash the garnishment.
