Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I borrowed money from Western Sky financial, they have since transferred my loan to Delbert Services.... my interest rate per annum is 139.12%. The repayment would total $14,132.12 for a $2,600.00 loan. I've been reading all of the articles concerning Western Sky, Cashcall and all the other names they use. At this date I've repaid my principal on the loan. What are my options? Do I continue to pay the rest of the loan? I see that they are not a legal lender? If it matters I live in Florida.

The interest rate may be permissible because the lender is an Indian tribe or affiliated with a tribe. Indian tribes are exempt from many state laws.
