Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I bought a house(manufactured home) back in 1996. Some unfortunate circumstances forced me to move out in 1999 and the house was foreclosed. The company sold the house but lost money on it so they are suing me for the difference. They have always sent me collection notes, etc. Back in 2004 they won a judgement against me(froze my bank account) but I got it overturned because I an HOH and have 3 kids. They are now doing the same thing. This time they are garnishing my wages. I filed the dispute form with the court and the company just sent me(about 7 days ago)a fact sheet to fill out proving that i wasn\'t lying about being HOH and having 3 kids. My question is, In the deposition it still says affidavit in opposition but they have already started to garnish my wages. can they do that if I am fighting it?

You may have an action for wrongful garnishment, but these cases turn on the details of the case. See an attorney in your area who handles these matters.
