Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Can they keep bringing me to court?

While living in Florida I defaulted on a credit card debt after the bank would not compromise. The bank then sold the account to another co who sold it on again to another debt collector. I refused to pay them stating I was dealing with the original bank. They had a Florida attorney contact me and brought me to court in Florida. I had the court ask them to verify the account twice and they could not, their motion was denied twice. They are now bringing me to court a third time for a non jury trial. I now live in Texas and can't afford an Attorney or to fly to Florida. Do they have the right to re-try this over and over? They have not even provided verification to the court. Can I sue them?

I don't quite understand all of your question, but if their case was dismissed with the right to refile; they can certainly bring it again - if it is within the statute of limitations. Beyond this response, you would be well advised to obtain the services of attorney because now they have you by the short stuff.

First, do not alllow a default to be entered against you. Next, retain counsel to represent you. Perhaps, legal aid will help you. There are insufficient facts in your question to advise more.
