Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I broke a lease in Florida two months before it expired. How long will the debt remain on my report? Is it 7 years?

A debt appears on your credit report if the creditor reports it; the maximum period
is seven years. Often it will stay longer unless you check the report and request or
demand that it be removed.

Did the landlord get a judgment against you - if so they are good for 20 years.
