Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Case dismissed by judge atty filed motion for summary judgement

On 1/27 2005 a judge dismissed a lawsuit brought against me by a collection attorney. Almost one tear later I receive a motion for Summary Judgement filed by the same attorney which was filed in the same court that dismissed the original case. What do I have to do in response. The attorney states there was no final judgement.

I am a bit confused on what was dismissed. If it was dismissed, the attorney would not be able to file a summary judgment. Can you call my office to discuss your case free of charge at 305.860.1221. If the case was dismissed, it could only be if the case were refiled. If thaat is wrong, then there is a major error in the proceding.
