Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Civil Judgement/ do I need to be served for judgement?

A process server for a debt collector served my girlfriend with a summons for me while I was incarcerated. Worldwide asset purchasing then obtained a civil judgement against me without my knowledge or objection. Is this legal or do I have recourse because they did not do due diligence in trying to locate me in a FCI 1 hour from my home. Thank you
