Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
collecting stolen items
I asked a friend in Florida to price some loose rubies and a necklace and pendant for me that I bought overseas. She could not get them priced and now she refuses to send them back to me. I have receipts for them. What actions can I take to get these things back.

Re: collecting stolen items
have a demand letter prepared and sent, and if that does not do the trick, sue the friend for conversion.

Re: collecting stolen items
1. If she still has them, sue for their return.
2. If not, sue for $ damages.
