Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Collection on Judgement

My husband and I hold an unsecured promissory note for $13,100.00 from an individual. This individual is in default. If I get a judgement entered into Civil Court against this individual, can I collect by having their wages garnished or must I file a lien against property?
