Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

collections

my mother has alzheimer and has moved in with me 1 1/2 years ago.

she is receiving sapeon about a loan that my father and her took out before he past away around 3 years ago. She has no income except her small retirement and ss. the only money she had was put towards adding a room in my home for her to live. Can they get any money from me?
