Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

college

A debt collector is calling me because of a past due balance from valencia community college. These fees I believe are false I don't know what type of law this would fall under before I can try to find a lawyer.

This would fall into the broad category of Consumer Law. You would want to look for an attorney who has handled debtor's rights. Believe it or not, some of the best debtor's lawyers out there are also bankruptcy attorneys (even though this does not involve a bankruptcy case).
