Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

There are so many conflicting answers on the internet. I know a lot of people would appreciate real answers to these questions.

1. If a person is self-employed, can a collection agency have their income garnished or checking account levied?

2. How long can a collection agency go after someone for unpaid credit card debt? Is there a statute of limitations? Some say ten years.

3. Will unpaid credit card debt go off your credit report after so many years? Some people say six years, some say seven, some say ten, some say never.

Thank you!
