Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Contract Binding on Auto Dealer?
One month ago, I purchased a vehicle from an auto dealer. Financing was done through the dealer. All paperwork, contract, etc has been signed. This was a vehicle that I had leased through the dealer, and purchased at the end of the lease. Today, I received a call from the dealer saying that he made a mistake on the contract. I purchased the vehicle with financing at 8%. Now he says that he can only offer me 9% and that I have to come in and sign new loan papers. Can they do that? I thought that contracts were binding on both parties? Thank you for your suggestions.

If you refuse you might have no car loan AND
I think you'll be able to get out of the auto purchase if you want.
But I'm not 100% certain without seeing the documents.
