Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Was a co-renter and my room-mate's parents were the co-signer for us.

The parents came from Texas and brought two cats that really messed up the apartment. They came and got her and the cats at the end of the lease and left the apartment a mess. I tried to clean it up but couldn't and moved out. Since her parents co-signed shouldn't they pay?

Chances are that under the lease you, your roommate and her parents are all jointly liable for paying for the mess.
