Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Court summons

I was summons for a creditcard debt to appear in Court 1/07.

This was a old debt,2004 & I DID NOT PAY DUE MEDICAL PROBLEMS & now am in FINANCIAL DEBT.

Do I need an attorney??IT is a$3,000 DEBT,HOW CAN I PAY THIS BACK WHEN I DON'T HAVE IT.What do I do?
