Re: credit card

you need to call them, from home, and set up another payment schedule. They will of course push you and you must remain firm within reason

Re: credit card

First direct your bank not to honor any type of draft from the agency. Then call them and sdvise them that the pay plan is excessive. Be prepared for all kinds of threats. With a bit of luck they will violate the provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Be sure to get the name of the collector and keep a log of the communications.

If you dont succeed, you will probably have another chance to settle when the claim reaches an atty.

If sued, or better even before, consult with a competent atty. He (she) may be able to work out a better deal for you. If you are in the south fl. area you may calll me.
