Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
credit card
My ex-boyfriend gave me a visa credit card in my name but under his account. Can I be sued for using this card even though we are not together?

Re: credit card
Whether you live together, or are even still dating, is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether you are a co-owner of the account. If you are a co-owner, you are able to be sued. If not, then no. call the credit card company and find out - ask the rep if you are listed as a co-owner or as an authorized user. Or, look at a statement. If your name is not on the statement, you are probably OK
