Credit card trying to foreclose on all assests

A Visa credit card company has sent my mother a notice that if she dont pay the full balance by the 15th of August he will forclose on all assests. Can a credit card company do this. Can we the family sue since i ahve some property associated with her assests. He was very rude and harassing to the family and I would like to countersue VISA for his actions and harrassement.

Until they sue & obtain a $ judgment they cannot forclosewd on anything.
