Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

credit compensation

I was just wondering what states is it not possible for creditors to garnish wages, or take personal property for the debt? I know that Texas is one that can not do such a thing.

Re: credit compensation

Here is a Web site for you to look at for every state's exemptions. To find out the garnishment laws you have to click through to the details for each state. For instance, I checked Florida, and there is some wage garnishment allowed there.

I am offering this for informational purposes only. I DO NOT VOUCH FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION ON THIS WEB SITE. I AM NOT GIVING YOU "BANKRUPTCY ADVICE" EVEN THOUGH THE WEB SITE IS OWNED BY A BANKRUPTCY LAW FIRM. I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE FIRM.
