Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

credit pass due due to non paid wages

I worked for a Florida , publicaly traded company. The CEO kept most on staff while not having the ability to pay us. We worked on promises that things would get better. My credit has suffered tremendously. I may be facing bankruptcy. Can I place a lien against his home since the Company only exists on paper (no revenue) Can I seek other damages as well, such as late fees associated with late payments and a settlement for ruining my credit? I have already contacted the Fl Dept of Labor, there is nothing they can due and I do not have the upfront money for an attorney.

You may be able to pierce the corporation and go after him personally but it is an expensive option. If you are having financial problems make sure you sign up for the free get out of debt newsletter at www.helpwithlaw.com. Good luck.
