Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My daughter and I were in a car accident 3 years ago when she was 18. The other driver was at fault and had no insurance so our medical bills were not paid. My daughter was in high school at the time and we had no medical insurance. She is now 21 and trying to establish credit, she just found out that she has medical bills on her credit report due to the accident. Since she was 18 and still in high school is she responsible for these bills?

18 is considered an adult. You should have filed a civil suit against the default person . You may have run the statute - check with an attorney who handles car accidents/personal injury
