Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

old debt

I had a car reposessed 12yr. ago the creditor did nothing to collect the debt. It never showed up on my credit report.

Now i am getting letters from them what can i do to stop this?

Advise them in writing that the Statute of Limitations on this debt has long run out and they cannot sue you.
