Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Debt collection for a vacation never taken

A few years ago I agreed to a vacation from a time share company. After making a few payments, my financial situation changed and I couldn't afford the payments. Now a collection agency is calling me and says because I signed a contract, I'm obligated to pay for this, even though I never took the vacation. Is this correct? Can I be sued for this?

Probably, however no attorney can answer your question without reciewing the contract you signed. I suggest you find an attorney in your town.
