Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Debt Collection-How to collect for services provided to an attorney.

Our business was contracted to provide services for an attorney. The job was completed to satisfaction. Although the lawyer's stipulated services to be paid for half in advance and payment in full at completion of job, this never occured. We received a small retainer instead. The client who retained the lawyer was required to pay for our services in advance, payment to be held with the lawyer. The client notified us that he paid for our services in full(has canceled checks). We have only recived 25% of payment due and our attempts for nearly one year to collect through mail and phone requests are unsuccessful. How can we collect?
