Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Old Debt

If a credit report shows that an account which was delinquent is in good standing, is it safe to also assume that the statute of limitations has expired for purposes of an action to enforce the debt?

Also, there seems to be conflicting authority on the statute of limitations on credit card in Florida. Some sources say 4 years and some say 5. Which is correct?
