Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Can someone deny you the right to cancel if you didn't use their service?

I signed up for an account with T-mobile, and decided the same day that I didn't want the phone, so I tried returning it, and the guy told me that it'll look shady in the system if they returned it the same day I got it, that I must come back on Monday. Plus he didn't tell me about the activation fees. When I was reading the contract I saw it. I told him that I couldn't afford it. He told me he can give me 3 rebate forms for each phone, and that I'll get them in time to help pay my first bill. I mailed in the rebates and never got my rebates from T-mobile, and now they are sending me bills in the mail for all these fees I think I owe over $2000 now. I honestly feel the guy scammed me, as I went to one of the booths in the mall.

If you signed the contract, you must abide by its terms.
