Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Desire to collect on a debt.

I have loaned $35,000.00 to an individual who is presently paying me $100.00 a month on the second debt of $20,000.00. He has broken up with me. I believe his desire to part company, move and open a businss in another state where he has a mother and sister is part of his strategy of relieving his responsibility of this initial debt of $15,000.00. He also has several possessions of mine, as well has stealing the coin collection I inherited from my mother.

He had 3 years of sobriety, but is back in his addiction for the past 1.5 years. He is a drug addict who is presently doctor hopping in both Florida and Georgia and pharmacy hopping, as well as ordering barbituatess over the Internet.

While you may be able to obtain a judgment against him does he have assets to pay it off?
