Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Hi. I am a disabled individual on Social Security Disability income alone. I am about to be sued by a credit card company. I get my SSDI direct deposited to my Direct Express account which is a credit/debit card company directly affiliated with the United States Department Of Treasury. My question is, if there is a default judgment, are ALL of SSDI funds deposited on this account protected? I read that SSDI, SSI and other government payments to individuals are protected from Creditor garnishment orders. Thanks.
