Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I got divorced two years ago, my exwife did not assume her mortage. It was not ordered in part of the divorce, but not it is causing me a financial lock down. What can I do, leagally?

Not much if you are still on the mortgage and note which is probably the case. Even if the court had ordered the wife to pay the mortgage, that does not eliminate your potential debt to the bank. If by "lock down" you mean that you cannot get credit because there is the note to the bank, then you are stuck until the note is satisfied (paid) or reduced sufficiently to free up some credit.

YOu can have the court find her in contempt - take back the house, sell it and be done.
