Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Can a doctor send a bill from back in 2015 simply stating "balance past due"? We go to this doctor every three weeks for a shot. We pay before we ever see him. How can they say we owe them and call it past due when we pay them everything they ask for up front. There is no explanation other than that. The bill is for $115.00 but no date as to when it occurred. Can they legally do this? Are we obligated to pay for something that we have no explanation for?

No, doctor cannot collect from you if you paid. I suggest you gather evidence of payment and call his/her office and work it out.

Absolutely Not. Ask them to provide the date and time that they did not receive payment. then gather your proof that you did pay and be sure they receive the documentation.
