Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I was dumb enough to co-sign student loans for my nephew who is not paying them so I am. My question is can I sue him for non-payment of his loans? If so, what type of attorney would I need. I live in Georgia, but my nephew is in Miami, FL. Thank you.
