Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
My Dutch company has a loan of 25000 Euro with a Dutch creditor(Bank) in the Netherlands where we used to live. The company cannot repay and I am held liable for the loan. We live in the USA now. We are trying to negotiate a payment plan. We cannot afford much and they might decline the plan. What can they do? Can they take posession of our house in the US, our prsonal blongings and/or my weekly salary? I cannot find any documentation that might help me so I am reaching out for help.

To answer your question, they can file a judgment and go after wages and your home. They cannot take your home - but you won't be able to refinance and/or sale without paying them.
There are many protections in Florida from creditors taking your assets but in order to answer your questions, would need to know much more about your situation. Feel free to contact me office to discuss further. www.behrenlaw.com
