Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Fair Debt Collection Act.

I have been turned into a collection agency for a medical bill because the hospital didn't think that a 40.00 a month payment was enough. The collection agency who I have made my payments to without missing one has called my house and discussed my debt with people other than myself and made threats. Is there anything that I can do to stop this harrassment?
