Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

If my father agree's to sign a promissory note to repay a consolidation loan (to free me from the loan he made me take out) that my mother is more qualified to take out, can that hold up in court? Another way of putting it, if he agrees to begin making payments by a certain date but does not, can I/my mother take him to court?

Have your father sign a promissory note - record it at the records office so that it is an official document. If he does not make payments you can take him to court to do so. OR have him take out a loan , pay off the debt to you and let him worry about making his payments.
