Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My father forced me to take out a student loan of $30,000.00 stating that it would go towards paying my balance in school and to finally get a car. He told me that this would be taken care of by my graduation. Once the check came he ran off and of course no car .I graduated and now I have a $46,664.96 balance on my back. He was my co-signer for the loan. Is there anything that could be done to any way shape, or form transfer this loan I was forced into taking out to the person responsible for it being taken out to begin with. I'm just asking because something needs to be done. Like said before, I just graduated and I don't even have m degree because I owe Florida International University $2,600 for the last semester. I just want my life to begin but I feel so trapped, so handicapped. Please help. Thank you!

You are both responsible to the lender for the full amount. If he took the money, he would be responsible to repay you.
