fdcpa and ucmj disclosing debt info to comanding officer

can a debt collector disclose to your commanding officer that you have a debt or does this violate the fdcpa they claim to have a right to take this action under the uniform code of military justice. if there has been any court opinions please give citation number and or plaintiff defendant names.

Ordinarily such a disclosure is a violation. I am not familiar with the cmj and its interplay with the fdcpa. My guess is that proceeding on the violation would be positive. Have you discussed this matter with your base judge advocates office?
