Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

How do I file lien against ficticious name business?

I have a judgment lien against a business ''XYZ''(a sole proprietorship) that I have found is registered as a ficticious name by an individual ''Mr. Doe'' , but his name is not on my judgment, only his business name.

How do I include him on a lien (planning to levy assets), as I think all his business assets are in his personal name, and not in the business name?

Do I include both the business name ''XYZ'', and his name as judgment debtor ''Mr. Doe dba XYZ company)? Someone said I could not include his personal name unless it was on the judgment.... or do I have to ask th court to amend the judgment?

I doubt the court will permit such an amendment. You may have to sue again.
