Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Final judgement

I just had a Final Judgement approved on me by a judge through an ex-creditor. What are the ramifications? It was for a credit card debt for approx. $12,000 total. Can they go after my only home or bank account? Or, is the worst case scenario, bad credit? Thank you.

Re: Final judgement

They can garnish your wages (with limitations) and they could execute on your bank accounts if they find where the $ exist. And this will be an on-going matter since the judgment may have a valid life of 20 years.
