Am I financially responsible for CC debt?

Am I financially Responsible for credit card debt that are in my soon to be ex-husbands name but I was an authorized user of? He says I need to pay half but when I try to make arrangements with the company they tell me I cannot do so as I am not the authorized account holder.

While you may not be responsible to the company, a court may hold you responsible for a portion of any debts incurred during the course of the marriage. It the parties are unable to reach an agreement about the division of the assets and liabilities, then a judge will do it for you.

While you may not be responsible to the cc company, a court may hold you are responsible, when determining marital distribution of assets and liabilities of the marriage.
