Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Fla - Credit Card Trial

I cancelled a credit card over the phone and advised balance was zero. I started receiving collection letters and requested validation and did not receive. Now... the case is going to court for a trial. All previous attempts for a judgement were denied by the judge. At the last hearing, the company provided copies of statements where the account accrued all interest/fees, etc. I have sought legal advice and was told that if I do not owe the debt just tell the judge that.

The initial court filing by the company for pre-trial was right before SOL expired (4 years - credit card debt for Florida).

Any professional advice/direction is greatly appreciated.
